• 2017 IT Professionals Presentation 2016-11-02

At the November 2, 2016 meeting of University of Utah IT Professionals, a "heads-up" presentation about the  Spring 2017 Learning Spaces-Student Computing Fees proposal process was delivered.

In this presentation, the critical steps and deadlines involved in submitting a funding proposal were reviewed.

 

PROPOSAL PROCESS & GUIDLINES:

  1. Email notification sent to college deans and IT professionals about the Spring 2017 funding round
    • Week of December 12, 2016
  2. Applicants email to spaces-proposals@utah.edu the name, uNID, and contact information for the lead applicant(s) submitting a college proposal
    • Deadline: January 3, 2017
  3. Colleges complete and submit online proposals
    • Applications open from January 9 - Feb 3, 2017
    • Deadline: February 3, 2017 at 5:00pm
  4. Colleges interviewed by Learning Spaces Task Force
    • From February 6 - 28, 2017
  5. Funding deliberations by Teaching & Learning Portfolio governance committee
    • From March 20 - 31, 2017
  6. Award notifications emailed to applicants
    • Week of April 24th, 2017
  7. Transfer of award funds to applicants
    • Last two weeks of June 2017 (end of fiscal year)
